"I'll admit as a long time owner of cats, that this is a disturbing thing to see. The tail is fully poofed and the back is ridged into what I call the stegosaurus formation. But I'm only accustomed to seeing this formation when a cat is terrified, or playing at being terrified - most commonly kittens do this. This cat is aggressively running towards the camera with its ears perked up instead of laid flat. Nothing playful about it's demeanor at all. This is likely a cat that is about to bite the ever-living fuck out of something it passionately hates.
At least that is my best guess. I would not try to pet this cat."
